Glass sliding walls turn your veranda or patio cover into a place you use far more often. In good weather you slide everything aside and simply sit outside. When it gets windy or wet, you slide them shut, with a clear view of your garden all the same.
We make every sliding wall to the millimetre. 10 mm toughened safety glass, an ultra-low 19 mm bottom rail and height-adjustable wheels keep it running smoothly for years.

What to check before you order
A sliding wall has to fit exactly. With these four points you’re on the right track.
Measure the opening, not the wall
Measure the width between the posts and the height under the gutter, on the left, right and in the middle. The smallest figure counts.
A level floor helps
The bottom rail is only 19 mm high. The adjustable wheels absorb small differences in height; for bigger ones we’ll work out a solution with you.
Keep the rail clean
Leaves and sand in the rail make sliding heavier. A quick sweep or vacuum and everything runs smoothly again.
Cleaning the glass
Use water with a little soap and a soft cloth or squeegee. No abrasive cleaners, so the glass stays scratch-free.

Will a sliding wall fit under my existing patio cover?
In most cases, yes: our sliding walls fit existing verandas, patio covers and pergolas. Send a photo with your request and we’ll check whether anything extra is needed.
How safe is 10 mm toughened glass?
Toughened glass is about five times stronger than ordinary glass. If it does break under extreme load, it crumbles into small, blunt granules instead of sharp shards.
Does a sliding wall keep the cold out?
It keeps wind and rain out, and draught brushes in the glass guides stop draughts. But a sliding wall of single glass doesn’t insulate like a double-glazed window frame: in winter it stays cooler than indoors.
Can the sliding wall be locked?
Yes, a lock is optional. So are a handle, extra draught strips and a glass catch.
