Last updated: 14 October 2026

VeraGlas B.V. handles your personal data with care. This privacy policy explains which data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

VeraGlas B.V. is the controller responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy policy.

VeraGlas B.V.
Timmermanstraat 16
5701 NE Helmond, the Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce 88203700
Email: info@veraglas.nl
Phone: +31 (0)85 060 8424

2. Which data we process

We only process data that you give us yourself:

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and your message.
  • Quote forms: name, email address, phone number and postcode (optional), your product choices and measurements, your installation preference and your comments.
  • Configurator: your design choices (colour, roof, walls and lighting) and, if you request a quote, your name, email address, phone number (optional), measurements and comments.
  • If you become a customer: also your address, the details of the order and the information needed for payment and invoicing.
  • Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp: the messages you send us and anything you share in them, such as photos of your house or garden.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data, such as health information. Please do not share these in a message either.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your question and prepare a quote, at your request and before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To perform the agreement: delivery, installation, invoicing, warranty and aftercare (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as the statutory retention period for tax records (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To keep communication where necessary to protect our rights, for example in a dispute (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; see also Article 22 of our terms and conditions).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it to others.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Requests that do not lead to an order: up to two years after the last contact, so we can still help you with a follow-up question.
  • Customer data: for as long as the agreement and the warranty and aftercare period run.
  • Invoices and related records: seven years, as required by Dutch law.

5. Who we share data with

We only share your data where necessary:

  • with parties that help us carry out your order, such as delivery companies and installation partners;
  • with our service providers for the website and email, such as our hosting provider and email provider TransIP;
  • if we are required to do so by law.

Where necessary, we conclude a data processing agreement with service providers that process data on our behalf. Your data is stored within the European Union. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your messages under its own privacy policy, which may include processing outside the EU.

6. Cookies and local storage

Our website does not place cookies and does not use analytics or marketing tools. Fonts and other files are loaded from our own server, so your visit is not shared with third parties.

In the configurator you can save your design. It is then stored only in the local storage of your own browser and is only sent to us when you request a quote yourself. You can remove it by clearing your design or your browser data.

7. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (https), and only employees who need your data for their work have access to it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object and to data portability. If you have given us consent for anything, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send your request to info@veraglas.nl. We will respond within one month. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to verify your identity. Please note: once we delete your data, we can no longer provide the same level of aftercare (see Article 4 of our terms and conditions).

9. Making a complaint

Not happy with how we handle your data? Please let us know first and we will look for a solution together. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy, for example when our website or the law changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
